The Healthcare Burnout Symposium will convene live and in person at the UCLA Luskin Conference Center, Los Angeles, February 23-25, 2023, to address clinician burnout as a public health emergency that requires immediate action. This mental health crisis has been fueled by the pandemic and has resulted in elevated levels of anxiety, depression, isolation, PTSD, and burnout for physicians, nurses, and many healthcare workers. This February, healthcare leaders from across the nation will gather at this symposium to inspire a shift in focus from advocating for change within healthcare systems to driving specific actions, innovations, and strategies to end clinician burnout.

If you register before December 2, you will get a $200 discount. LACMA Members receive $400 off. Contact stephanie@lacmanet.org for your discount code. Groups of three or more get an additional 15% off registration. Click here to learn more, register, and access early bird discounts.

“Leading researchers will present at the Healthcare Burnout Symposium, including wellbeing experts Christine Sinsky, Paul Dechant, and Steve Swensen, among many other physicians, nurse leaders, and wellness officers,” says Bill Doherty, President of ICD. "The conference agenda will also include healthcare professionals who have personally experienced and dealt with burnout in their workplace.

Special Keynote addresses will be made by Xavier Becerra, HHS Secretary, and Dr. Diana Ramos, CA Surgeon General. We look forward to strategizing with LACMA to learn from direct experience the best practices that truly make a difference in daily work. The exceptional agenda will help organizations ensure a culture of wellness that is systematically embedded to support the strength and future of public health.”

“The partnership with ICD has been and continues to be transformative for LACMA, the region, and the industry as we collaborate to deliver tangible solutions to problems today’s physicians and medical providers face every day,” says Gustavo Friederichsen, CEO of LACMA.
