LACMA has a partnership with the Mayo Clinic Well-Being Index, to provide this interactive, anonymous self-assessment tool that measures 6 dimensions of distress and well-being in just 9 questions. 

The Well-Being Index is a lifelong tool that allows for continuous measurement of well-being. Participants can reassess on an ongoing basis and track their progress over time.

LACMA has formed a partnership with the Dr. Lorna Breen Heroes’ Foundation and more specifically, their provider wellness platform featuring six (6) key categories: 

 

Convene: Unite experts that are advancing healthcare workforce well-being solutions.

 

Accelerate: Create a culture shift that prioritizes healthcare workforce well-being.

Amplify:  Recognize models within healthcare leadership who prioritize healthcare workforce well-being.

Provide: Financial resources to implement clinician well-being programs and initiatives.

Share Data: Among health leaders to improve collaboration and effective strategies.

Advocate: For public policy solutions that address systemic needs to improve well being and mental health support for providers.

LACMA has a long-standing partnership with the Four Seasons Westlake Village and California Health & Longevity Institute to provide customized, personalized 2 ½ day retreats for providers in crisis. 

 

Thanks to a grant from PhRMA, LACMA is able to provide the retreats for individuals and couples at NO COST to LACMA Members (based on availability); each retreat is valued at $5,000

The Medical Practice Makeover Initiative is more than a slogan. It’s a promise to small, independent medical practices that meet certain criteria, that help is on the way in the form of $5,000 grants, robust resources, PPE supplies, staff support for 20 practices in early 2022, with practice transformation consultancy, offered free of charge for 30 practices starting in early 2022.
